STYR

STYR is a new online marketplace that lets people trade sneakers like stocks. As the art director on this project, I led the full branding process from concept to execution, shaping the visual identity and content strategy for this innovative sneaker trading platform.

The challenge

The sneaker market has exploded into a multi-billion dollar industry, with sneakers evolving into a legitimate asset class. STYR set out to create an online marketplace where people could trade sneakers like stocks, turning a passion into a financial opportunity. The challenge? Positioning STYR as both a credible fintech platform and an authentic voice in sneaker culture.

The insight

Sneakerheads aren’t just collectors — they’re investors. As they grow older, they want a platform that treats their passion with the same sophistication as traditional markets. But authenticity is everything. STYR needed to blend the worlds of finance and sneaker culture without losing the rebellious humor and insider edge that make the community tick.

The solution

We developed branding and shareable content that positioned STYR as the bridge between sneakers and financial technology. Every touchpoint reinforced STYR’s credibility as an investment platform while staying true to its roots, built by sneakerheads, for sneakerheads.

Landing Page

I designed a landing page focused on driving waitlist sign-ups, with a streamlined layout and concise content that led to a 35% conversion rate. Additionally, the custom onboarding flow captured personal info from 15% of STYR’s users - triple the initial goal of 5%.

Additional assets

As part of the campaign, we led the brand’s transition on social, building anticipation with bold, engaging visuals that drove momentum ahead of the beta portal launch.
